P4.8 million shabu seized in Negros

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Shabu valued at P4.8 million was recovered in anti-narcotics operations in Negros Occidental on Thursday and Friday.

The Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Unit said Jesther Soquena, top drug suspect in this city, and Biboy Dacumos yielded shabu worth P3.4 million in Victorias City.

Lt. Liberty Indiape, Bacolod police deputy spokesman, said shabu valued at P1.39 million was recovered from Mark Daniel Angas in Barangay Singcang Airport.

In Tarlac City, Kenneth Olaes, alleged operator of a drug den and ranked first on the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency watchlist in the area, as well as ”high-value” suspects John Andrew, Aries Reyes and Robert Capulong were arrested in Sitio Tañedo in Barangay Aguso.
