P66 million farm produce seized in Subic

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Philippines — Agricultural produce worth P66 million have been seized by personnel of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in Subic, Zambales, authorities reported over the weekend.

The shipments, which arrived in 22 container vans, were consigned to the JKJ International Co. and EMV Consumer Goods Trading, according to Port of Subic district collector Maritess Martin.

The shipments were found to contain carrots, sweet oats, broccoli, mushrooms and red onions.
