MANILA, Philippines — A barangay tanod was arrested for allegedly shooting to death a scavenger in Tondo, Manila on Saturday.
Cesar Panlaqui was nabbed for the murder of Eduardo Geñoga, according to the Manila Police District.
Probers said Geñoga was found dead with a gunshot to the body along Tayuman street.
Police said they recovered the gun from the suspect.
The motive for the killing is still being investigated.
