23 Pangasinan cops infected

STA. BARBARA, Pangasinan, Philippines — Twenty-three policemen in this town have tested positive for COVID-19.

The infected policemen are in the town’s isolation facility, Mayor Joel delos Santos told The STAR yesterday.

He said the remaining policemen set up their desks outside the station to accommodate people needing assistance while the police station was closed for disinfection.

The town recorded 51 active cases as of yesterday.
