MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) has donated over P2.5 million to the Philippine National Police for the PNP’s COVID-19 response.

Pagcor chairperson Andrea Domingo turned over the cash to PNP chief Gen. Debold Sinas at Camp Crame in Quezon City on Monday.

Domingo said the cash grant would be used to procure medical supplies for the PNP’s hospitals and other health facilities where over 1,800 police personnel are undergoing treatment for COVID-19.

“This is our own little way of showing our gratitude and recognizing the sacrifices of the police for the country,” she said.

Sinas thanked Pagcor for its continuous support for the PNP.

“With this donation, we will be able to sustain the medical needs of our frontliners,” he said.
