MANILA, Philippines — Twelve men caught working out in a Quezon City gym were arrested for allegedly violating health protocols under general community quarantine on Sunday.
Members of the city’s Task Force Disiplina raided the gym along O’Donnell street in Barangay Holy Spirit at around 8:20 p.m.
The task force said charges would be filed against the violators for holding mass gathering and not wearing face masks.
The gym faces closure for breaking quarantine measures, the task force said.
The Department of Trade and Industry has allowed business establishments, including gyms and fitness studios, to resume operations but with limited capacity.
