2 found dead in Bulacan home

HAGONOY, Bulacan, Philippines — The decomposing bodies of a woman and her daughter were discovered in their house in this town on Friday.

Lt. Col. Roginald Francisco, Hagonoy acting police chief, said Carmelita Tungol, 69, and Mary Grace, 43, were found dead by their relatives who went to their house in Barangay Mercado around noon.

Mary Grace’s sister and brother-in-law sought assistance from barangay officials after they were informed that the victims were not seen coming out of their house for several days.

An investigation is ongoing.
