DAR completes P108.7 million Sultan Kudarat road projects

SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines — The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) recently turned over a bridge and a farm-to-market road worth P108.7 million in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat.

The 60-meter-long and 9.2-meter-wide bridge worth P34.4 million connects Barangay  Kalibuhan and Baluan. The 9.8-kilometer farm-to-market road worth P74.2 million traverses various sitios in the two barangays.

The infrastructure projects were implemented under the Mindanao Sustainable Agrarian and Agriculture Development, a joint project of the Philippine and Japanese governments.

The projects are funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and cover 12 settlements in Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon, North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Compostela Valley and Davao del Sur.
