LTFRB reopens; PRC closed

Mayen Jaymalin, Neil Jayson Servallos - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) resumed operations yesterday following a five-day decontamination after several employees contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

The LTFRB said it would continue to implement strict health and safety measures for employees such as social distancing, wearing of face masks and regular disinfection of offices.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has suspended its frontline services after six employees were infected with COVID-19.

The PRC said the employees and those who had direct contact with them are undergoing home quarantine.

The PRC office at the PICC in Pasay City will be closed until July 24 for disinfection and contact tracing.
