Pangasinan mayor warns vs fake quarantine passes

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan, Philippines  – The mayor here has warned his constituents against using fake quarantine passes.

Mayor Julier Resuello said he received a police report on the confiscation of at least 20 fake quarantine passes a day in public markets.

Resuello said violators would be penalized.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government said quarantine passes are no longer required in areas under general community quarantine but local government units can require them under localized lockdowns.
