PANGSINGAN, Philippines – Unidentified gunmen killed a woman in Barangay Cabalitian here on Thursday.
Virginia Balangue, 45; her husband Arsenio, 52, and Artemio Canaveral, 42, were catching beetles when she was shot. Arsenio and Canaveral were unhurt.
Maj. Leonard Zacarias, town police chief, said the victim was declared dead on arrival at the Asingan Community Hospital.
