MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were gunned down in Cavite on Monday.
Police said Juanito Concepcion and Mencio Dimapilis were in a tricycle on their way to a banana plantation when they were shot in Barangay Tres Cruses in Tanza town at around 7:30 a.m. The victims died at the scene.
Witnesses said the gunmen fled on foot.
An investigation is underway.
