3 slain in Calabarzon gun attacks

MANILA, Philippines — Three persons were killed in shootings in Calabarzon in the past two days.

Police said murder convict Geronimo Dimayuga, 54, who was released on parole from the New Bilibid Prison in 2016, was about to enter his house in Barangay Luna in Tuy, Batangas when he was shot.

In Rizal, Sandy Pragata was shot in the head while sleeping in a vulcanizing shop in Barangay Inarawan, Antipolo City.

Former kagawad Victor Garcia of Barangay  Lawa, Calamba City, Laguna was sleeping in his room with his family when the suspects entered and shot him several times.

Investigations into the killings are ongoing.
