2 drug suspects killed in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija
MANILA, Philippines — Two drug suspects were killed in stings in Bulacan and Nueva Ecija in the past two days.
Ryan Gamboa shot undercover agents who tried to arrest him after selling shabu in Paradise Farm in Barangay Tungkong Mangga, San Jose del Monte City, Col. Emma Libunao, acting Bulacan police director, said.
Libunao said 13 sachets of shabu, a .38-caliber revolver, marked money and a motorcycle were recovered from the fatality.
She said six other drug pushers were arrested in Bustos, Bocaue and the cities of Meycauayan and Malolos.
In Nueva Ecija, police said Patrick Ferrer, a resident of Barangay La Torre, Talavera ,shot it out with police officers who posed as buyers of shabu.
A caliber .38 revolver, sachets of shabu, a motorcycle and marked money were allegedly recovered from the slain suspect.
Meanwhile, in North Cotabato, police said P300,000 worth of shabu were seized from JC Mendoza when the van he was riding was pulled over at a checkpoint along the Cotabato-Davao Highway in Barangay Galakit.
