MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared local holidays in three areas in Luzon and one in the Visayas.

Nov. 4 was declared a special non-working day in San Carlos City under Proclamation 830 to allow residents to celebrate an annual festival.

Proclamation 831 declared a non-working holiday in Quezon, also on Nov. 4, to commemorate the death anniversary of religious leader Apolinario dela Cruz, also known as Hermano Puli.

Malacañang also issued Proclamations 832 and 833 declaring Nov. 6 and Nov. 7 as special non-working days in Buenavista, Marinduque and Cuenca, Batangas, respectively, to allow residents to celebrate the anniversary of the towns.
