Drug sting in Caloocan yields P1.3 million shabu

MANILA, Philippines — Two suspects were arrested with over P1.3 million worth of shabu in a drug sting in Caloocan on Saturday.

Noe Esplanada and Jericho Buaracan were arrested in Barangay Bagong Silang with seven sachets of shabu worth P36,000.

Police also recovered 75 more grams of shabu worth P1.35 million.

Two minors were rescued during the operation, while Jamel Modi, who was buying drugs from the suspects, was also arrested.

The suspects are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
