TUGUEGARAO, Philippines — A four-year-old girl drowned during an excursion in Barangay Caggay here on Saturday.
Kasandra Kate Caronan was found floating in the kiddie pool of the Chateau Leonor Resort at around 7:45 a.m., according to Lt. Col. George Cablarda, chief of the Tuguegarao police.
Reports said the victim’s father left the girl in the pool to play with other children.
The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died while being treated.
