Quake rocks Cagayan town

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude-3 earthquake rocked the town of Claveria in Cagayan yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The quake occurred at 2:59 p.m., with its epicenter located some nine kilometers southwest of Claveria, where it was felt at Intensity 1.

Phivolcs said no damage or aftershocks were expected from the quake.
