CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  —   A laborer who was reported missing two months ago was found buried in a septic tank in Bacoor City, Cavite before dawn yesterday.

The remains of an alias Buboy were found at a house being constructed in Barangay San Nicolas 3, where eight persons were arrested in a drug sting.

Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan, Bacoor police chief, said a witness surfaced claiming Buboy, who was suspected as a police asset, was killed by members of a drug gang.

Cabatingan said they set up an operation that led to the arrest of the gang members, including their alleged leader Jimmy Ecleo.

“Ecleo, who owns the house... led the police to where the remains of Budoy were buried,” he said.

Cabatingan identified the other arrested suspects as Jhune Alexies Anthony, Albert Almojuela, Michael Ranay, Randy Abulencia, Alberto Diche, Arsenio Amante and Jhon Gerald Sazar.
