KORONADAL CITY, Philippines — Two college students were arrested for selling compressed marijuana leaves to plainclothes anti-narcotics agents in a drug sting here Wednesday.

Mark John Pascual and Dexter Cerbas, both 18, are now in the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-12, to be prosecuted for peddling marijuana.

Naravy Duquiatan, director of PDEA-12, said the duo fell in an entrapment along Antipolo Street in Barangay Zone 2 here that agents laid with the help of the city police and local officials.

Duquiatan said the suspects are both students of a college institution in the city.

He said it was vigilant residents here who informed PDEA-12 of the suspects’ distribution of marijuana in their barangay.
