Filipino-Chinese man caught with shabu in casino

MANILA, Philippines — A Filipino-Chinese man was nabbed for alleged possession of shabu at a casino resort and hotel in Parañaque City on Thursday night.

Police arrested Jason Tsang Yao while playing at a slot machine at Okada Manila at around 11:40 p.m.

Yao allegedly yielded a pack of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

He is being held by police on drug charges.

Five other drug suspects were collared in anti-narcotics operations in Pasig and Mandaluyong in the past two days.

They were Liza de la Cruz, 55; Robert Ocampo, 62; Enrico Flores; Cindy Granuelas, 34, and Carlos Aborde, 40.

Police said they recovered packs of shabu and the marked money from the suspects. – Non Alquitran
