LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — After an eight-day wake, the remains of slain Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Rodel Batocabe will be buried today at the Daraga Public Cemetery, his family said yesterday.
Batocabe’s son Justine said the choice of the public cemetery was his father’s when he was alive.
“I was born in Daraga, I will be buried in Daraga, in our town’s public cemetery, being myself a genuine Daragueño,” the young Batocabe quoted his father as saying.
