Commuter hurt in bus mishap

MANILA, Philippines — A sleeping commuter was injured after two passenger buses bumped into each other along EDSA in Quezon City yesterday morning.

Daniel Malapit sustained injuries to his arm when the Kellen Transport and Mayamy Transport Corp. buses collided along the southbound lane of EDSA near Kamuning Road. 

Probers said Malapit was sleeping and sustained injuries to his elbow, which was protruding from the window, when the two buses hit each other. 

The victim was rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.
