Kidnap try on Chinese foiled

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities foiled an attempt to kidnap a Chinese man at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday night.

The alleged kidnappers of Zhirong Lin were arrested by the airport police department with the help of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group. 

Police said Chinese Luo Jianzhong and Luo Zhi Giang were nabbed along with their Filipino cohorts Leizel Inojardo and Jayson Inojardo.

The suspects were taken into police custody.

Police said the suspects were nabbed after they tried to kidnap Lin at the parking area of the NAIA Terminal 3.
