Fire razes Bilibid's medium security compound
MANILA, Philippines — Fire razed a part of the New Bilibid Prison early on Wednesday morning.
The STAR reported the fire that hit the Medium Security Compound reached the fourth alarm.

Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald dela Rosa told CNN Philippines that the Bureau of Fire Protection declared a “fire out...around 6:00 a.m.”
The fire started at around 3:00 a.m., said the Bucor chief.
Dela Rosa added that all inmates were accounted for and nobody was hurt. He said that they follow a standard operating procedure to ensure that no one could get out when fire breaks.
The Bucor chief said that investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. — Kristine Joy Patag
