MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested two suspected drug pushers for alleged possession of at least P1 million worth of high-grade kush, a more expensive variant of marijuana, in Pasig City on Monday night.
Carlito Johanne Arpilleda, 23, and Jayson Peralta, 24, were nabbed in a sting at a house along Col. P. Licsi street in Barangay Caniogan.
Prior to this, probers said a police officer managed to buy kush for P3,000 from the suspects through social media.
Arpilleda and Peralta admitted that they were selling illegal drugs online.
The suspects are beingheld by police on charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Eleven other drug suspects were arrested by police in separate anti-narcotics operations in Parañaque City and Makati.
