MANILA, Philippines — A 67-year-old Chinese businessman was gunned down while attending to his store in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Monday afternoon.
Jimmy Chua Yu Eng, of Teodora Alonzo street, died at the scene from gunshots to the body.
One of the two suspects, who was wearing a facemask, broke into the store at around 5:45 p.m., according to Police Officer 3 Roderick Magpale.
Upon seeing Eng, the suspect drew a gun and fired at the victim.
The suspects fled on a motorcycle toward Claro M. Recto Avenue, witnesses said.
