Fire breaks out in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — A fire of unknown origin broke out at a slum area in Taguig City on Saturday night.

Arson probers said at least eight houses were destroyed by the fire, which started at around 11 p.m. in Barangay Ibayo Tipaz.

Firefighters put out the blaze at around 2 a.m. yesterday.

No one was reported injured in the incident.

Authorities said they have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
