Boy, 15, stabs, kills 18-year-old friend in Makati
MANILA, Philippines — A 15-year-old student was detained at the Makati City police headquarters Thursday night after he allegedly stabbed dead his 18-year-old friend in Barangay South Cembo, an official said yesterday.
Rafael Don Sy was in the 15-year-old boy’s house when the latter reportedly stabbed him Wednesday nght, said Superintendent Jenny Tecson, spokesperson of the Southern Police District (SPD).
Sy was rushed by his parents to the Makati Medical Center for treatment. He was later transferred to the East Avenue Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival, Tecson said.
Sy’s parents have filed charges against the boy, who is set to be transferred to the city government’s social welfare office, she added.
Police have yet to determine the motive for the attack.
