SANTIAGO, Isabela, Philippines — A farmer was allegedly hacked to death by his son in Echague, Isabela on Tuesday.
Roberto Calungay, 50, and his son Ever Dave, 19, went bird-hunting in Barangay San Salvador when they had a heated argument over the sharing of their catch.
Ever reportedly hacked his father several times using a bolo.
Police are looking into reports that the suspect is suffering from mental illness.
