Teen killed in drunken brawl in Malabon

MANILA, Philippines — A drunken brawl in Malabon City past midnight on Tuesday left a teenager dead and three others injured.
Police said Lito Tumampil, 19, had been drinking with friends in Barangay Santulan when an altercation happened with a group at another table.
Mark Anthony Gonzales, 18, allegedly pulled out a knife during the fight and stabbed Tumampil in the chest, killing him.
Another suspect, 18-year-old Joshua Sanye, allegedly stabbed Ramil Afable, 25, on the neck, arm and abdomen. He also allegedly stabbed Michael Lanticsi, 27, on the head.
John Mark Manalo, 23, another suspect, was arrested at the Valenzuela Medical Center while undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the scuffle.
Sanye and Gonzales posted bail for slight physical injuries and direct assault.
Inspector Dennis Javier, head of the Malabon City police investigative unit, frustrated homicide and homicide charges are set to be filed against the suspects over Dumampil's death.
