SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga , Philippines – A 57-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his eight-year-old daughter and teenage son in Concepcion, Tarlac.
The crime was discovered recently after the girl revealed the matter to her maternal aunt, town police chief Superintendent Luis Ventura said yesterday.
Probers said the girl described to them how the abuse was committed and that it happened several times.
The children’s mother told police that her husband hadbeen taking illegal drugs, and that he beat her up every time she failed to bring home food.
The woman said she was often out to work and the children were left with their father.
