NORTH COTABATO , Philippines – Two mild earthquakes shook this province yesterday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the first quake with a magnitude of 3.5 occurred at around 7:39 a.m. The epicenter of the quake was traced 16 kilometers east of Makilala town.
Another quake with a magnitude of 2.9 occurred around an hour later.
The tremors were felt in Makilala, Kidapawan City and nearby areas.
