GAMAY, Northern Samar, Philippines – Three men charged with frustrated homicide have been arrested after 20 years in hiding.
Juanito Pajares, 44, and his brothers Wilmar, 42, and Sammy, 40, were collared on Wednesday based on a warrant issued by Northern Samar Regional Trial Court Branch 21 Judge Jose Mijares on July 24, 1997.
Senior Superintendent Ceasar Tanangan, provincial police director, said they received a tip from a concerned citizen that the Pajares brothers were in Barangay Anito.
The suspects are being held at the police station here.
