4 killed in drug war

Four more drug suspects were killed in the continuous campaign against illegal drugs in Luzon on Saturday.

MANILA, Philippines – Four more drug suspects were killed in the continuous campaign against illegal drugs in Luzon on Saturday.

Two of the fatalities were identified as Raymund Saddi and Mario Robles, both of Bulacan.

Saddi was shot dead by an unidentified assailant as he was playing billiards in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Marilao town.

The assailant left a placard near Saddi’s body before fleeing.

The placard was marked, in Filipino, “I warned you not to leave the house. Now you’re dead. Don’t emulate, pusher/addict.”

Meanwhile, Robles was killed after he allegedly resisted arrest following a sting in Barangay Iba in Hagonoy town.

Police allegedly recovered from Robles an improvised gun, a plastic sachet said to contain shabu and marked money.

In Laguna, Mario Orza was killed after he allegedly engaged police officers in a firefight in Cabuyao.

Police said Orza was on the drug list of the city police.

In Ilocos Sur, an unidentified assailant shot dead Judy Tapat, 47, and dumped his body in a grassy lot in Barangay Guimod Norte in San Juan town.

Police said Tapat earlier surrendered to police officers during the conduct of Oplan Tokhang in Cabugao town.
