BACNOTAN, Philippines – The chairman of Barangay Bitalag in this town was shot dead yesterday.
Aurelio Mique Jr., 52, was driving his car on his way home when unidentified men on two motorcycles fired at him at around 3 p.m.
Mique was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bacnotan District Hospital.
Police are looking into a grudge as the motive for the attack.
