2 dead in road mishaps

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two people died in separate road accidents in Quirino and Cagayan on Wednesday.

Mark Rainzen Verazon, 6, a Grade 1 pupil at the Cajel Elemntary School, was walking in Barangay Diffun in Quirino on his way home, when he was struck by an Isuzu forward truck driven by Crisolito Verzon.

Verazon was pronounced dead on arrival at the Diffun District Hospital.

Verzon surrendered to responding policemen.

In Barangay Nagsabaran in Amulung, Cagayan, Basilio Bulusan Jr., 39, died in a motorcycle crash.
