Quezon STL branch manager gunned down

INFANTA, Quezon, Philippines – A branch manager of a small town lottery outlet in this town was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men along General Luna street in Barangay Poblacion  39 on Wednesday.

Mavel Dane Manalo, 53, was riding her motorcycle when she was gunned down at around 3:30 p.m., Senior Inspector Roberto Santos, acting Infanta police chief, said yesterday.

The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Memorial District Hospital.

An investigation is underway.
