3 drug suspects nabbed

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Three suspected drug traffickers were arrested in a sting in San Fernando City in this province last Sunday.

Augusto Rivera, 60; Loreta Ligtag, 35, and Amy Manlapaz, 34, were collared after they sold shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay Quebiawan, said Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Recomono Jr., Pampanga police director.

Police seized from the suspects 25 plastic sachets said to contain shabu, drug paraphernalia, a caliber .45 pistol, four motorcycles and P1,000 marked money.

The suspects were detained at the city jail.
