Australian falls to death from Pasay hotel

MANILA, Philippines — A 65-year-old Australian national fell to his death from upper levels of a Pasay City hotel on Tuesday night.

In a radio report, police said that Robert Andrews, who hails from Melbourne, was seen by other guests to have been walking barefoot around the halls Atrium Hotel before the incident.

Authorities have not yet determined whether Andrews fell or jumped in apparent suicide.

He caught electrical cables during the fall, temporarily affecting the hotel's power supply. — Camile Diola
