CamSur vice mayor falls in drug sting

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – The vice mayor of Milaor town in Camarines Sur was arrested on Wednesday while allegedly sniffing shabu in a hotel room in Naga City, a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) official said yesterday.

PDEA Camarines Sur operations chief Vidal Bacolod said Vice Mayor Andrei Hidalgo was nabbed by a PDEA-police raiding team in Room No. 327 of Sampaguita Hotel, and yielded two sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, and P1,000 cash used as buy-bust money. – Cet Dematera, Reinir Padua
