MANGATAREM, Pangasinan – A former Army soldier was shot dead along Barangay Punta in this town last Saturday.
Reynaldo Ferrer, 50, a resident of Mabini street, was riding a motorcycle with two companions on his way home to Urbiztondo from Mangatarem when he was shot upon reaching Caanitan Bridge, said Chief Inspector Fidel Junio, police chief here.
Police are still conducting an investigation on the possible motive for the crime. Ferrer’s companions could not be located.
