BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – A suspected leader of a drug syndicate here was arrested during a raid in Barangay Balsigan on Friday.
Edmar Buscagan, 44, also known as “Tuts,” is ranked fifth in the list of most wanted persons of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Cordillera Administrative Region (PDEA-CAR).
Anti-drug operatives found various sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P54,500 and assorted shabu paraphernalia.
The Buscagan drug group, composed mostly of the leader’s relatives, uses minors as couriers, according to PDEA-CAR.
