CCTV helps solve robbery

- Non Alquitran -

MANILA, Philippines -  A spy camera helped police in the arrest of two persons believed behind at least 17 robbery cases in Rizal province.

Calabarzon police director Chief Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao Jr. said the suspects Armando Javoc and Eriberto Calingan alias Padilla were behind six robbery incidents in Antipolo City, three in Taytay, two in Cainta, three in Binangonan and three in Angono.

Pagdilao said Senior Superintendent Manuel Cesar Prieto, Rizal police provincial director, created dedicated teams to track down and arrest Javoc and Calingan but failed.

The two suspects’ last heist was at an Internet shop in Taytay, which unknown to them was armed with a closed-circuit television camera.
