Jealous wife guns down cop husband
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – A jealous wife shot dead her policeman husband during a verbal tussle over the latter’s alleged extramarital affairs in Cauayan City, Isabela the other day, reports said.
Reports identified the fatality as PO3 Herminio Dalog, 39, a Cauayan City police officer who died from several bullet wounds from his own 9-mm service pistol, which his wife Celia grabbed during the altercation.
Efforts to get in touch with police authorities, including the police chief of Cauayan City, proved futile.
Reports said Dalog, instead of arguing further with his wife, turned his back on her and started packing his things. She tried to stop him from leaving, but he reportedly swept her aside, causing her head to hit a wall and angering her more.
