MANILA, Philippines - Two men were reportedly caught repacking P2 million worth of party drugs in a condominium unit in Mandaluyong City Thursday night, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said yesterday.

Among the items seized from Ronald Fonda, 33, and Gervy Lee, 28, were 840 Ecstasy pills, four bottles of empty capsules meant for the “fly high” mix, 150 tablets of the anti-anxiety drug Valium, 50 grams of marijuana, an undetermined amount of cocaine and shabu, and various drug paraphernalia, said PDEA-National Capital Region director Wilkins Villanueva.

The target of the raid, Carl Agbulos, reportedly the owner of the condominium unit, was not arrested as he is in Mindanao, he added.

The suspects, allegedly connected to arrested radio disc jockey Karen Bordador and her boyfriend, reportedly bought party drugs from the Netherlands one using Bitcoin, a type of virtual currency.

The drugs were reportedly sent through mail and parcel service to the suspects.

Villanueva said agents are checking the suspects’ clients since they reportedly used to see 20 to 30 a day.

Both suspects denied the allegations but Villanueva said the two arrested were the ones who “disposed” of the drugs while Agbulos is away.
