MANILA, Philippines - A businessman shot dead his partner’s ex-lover, whom he caught sleeping in their bed, in Barangay Kruz na Ligas, Quezon City before dawn Monday.
Paul Ryan Andrei Aquino, 33, shot Davy Lan Perez, 44, a call center agent, when he saw the victim sleeping with his wife, Police Officer 3 Apolinar Campani Jr. said.
Aquino allegedly slapped his partner shortly after he shot her former lover and threatened her with a shotgun before fleeing in his sport utility vehicle (AAY-7482)
Aquino’s partner rushed Perez to the FEU General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival at around 3:45 a.m.
Police officers recovered four cartridges and two .40 caliber slugs from the crime scene.
