Snatcher shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified motorcycle rider shot dead a snatcher in Sta. Cruz, Manila Friday night.

Rommel Resurrecion, 17, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.  A man and his seven-year-old son were wounded after being hit by a stray bullet.

Witnesses said the motorcycle rider shot Resurrecion when he saw him stole the mobile phone of a student in a passenger jeepney while traveling along Rizal Avenue around 7:30 p.m.
