14th escaped inmate falls

MANILA, Philippines - The 14th of 16 inmates who escaped from a police station’s detention cell in Cubao, Quezon City on Dec. 31, 2014 was arrested in Dasmariñas, Cavite before dawn yesterday.

Robbery suspect CJ Nuque, 19, is back in police custody following his arrest at around 3 a.m. Thirteen inmates were reported to have been recaptured by police.

Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said the manhunt for two more escapees is ongoing.
