MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old man committed suicide in front of a pastor he sought for consultation in Caloocan City Sunday night.
Jaymar Pingcas, a production staff and resident of Barangay Salvacion, Quezin City, was talking to Anthony Macabro Jr. in front of a supermarket along Rizal Avenue regarding a problem when he turned away, pulled out a bottle of an unidentified liquid and drank it at around 9:30 p.m., Police Officer 3 Edgar Manapat said.
Macabro told investigators Pingcas fell to the pavement and started shaking. He and some bystanders took Pingcas to the Caloocan City Medical Center, where he was declared dead on arrival.
